Introducing peaq Vantage: an honest read on your storage
peaq Vantage is a new assessment service for organisations running enterprise Hitachi storage. It reads the estate from the outside over one observation cycle of about a month, and reports where things stand, what has been building, and what is worth acting on.
The problem it addresses has nothing to do with skill. Your team knows the environment better than anyone, which is exactly why slow change is hard to catch from inside: a drift that builds over months looks like an ordinary week on any given day. Read as one continuous line instead of a snapshot, the same data shows the pattern. A short spike that returns on the first of every month stops being noise and becomes something with a cause.
Because peaq sells no storage hardware, a Vantage reading has no commercial interest in its own conclusions. It is a second opinion that does not come from whoever sold the equipment, and it is written to be taken into a management discussion.
Vantage stands on its own. Running SAM4H or IOportal makes it quicker to switch on, but it is not a condition. It can be bought as a single reading or repeated on a schedule, so the long-term view builds over time.
